Naples, Cape Coral, Ft Myers, Mold or Home Inspectors
Ft Myers Mold Remediators

Ft Myers Mold Remediation (cleanup) must be performed by a state of Florida licensed mold remediator. An independent mold assessor must be used for mold assessment (inspection). Ft Myers Mold Remediators are not allowed to perform mold assessment then cleanup the mold within 12 months of the inspection. Mold Assessor and Mold Remediator are two different licenses, one does not qualify for the other.

A licensed Ft Myers Mold Inspector (Certified Indoor Environmentalist) will write recommendations for cleanup of any mold problem as part of their inspection report based on nationally accepted industry standards. This allows client to get proposals from Ft Myers mold remediation / cleanup companies based on a report that identifies source of mold problem and the extent of problem.

         Considering Bioaerosol Sampling

http://www.epa.gov/mold/moldcourse/chapter7/lesson2.html

"remember that a negative sampling report must not be used in place of a visual survey. Factors such as barometric pressure, inside and outside temperatures, activity levels, and humidity may dramatically reduce or increase the spore levels within a building. Air sampling for mold provides information on what was in the air only for the moment when the sampling occurred. It is important, therefore, that sampling not replace visual inspection."

Can your Ft Myers inspector interpret your lab results?

http://www.epa.gov/mold/moldcourse/chapter3/lesson3.html

"Sampling for mold should be conducted by professionals who have specific experience in designing mold sampling protocols, sampling methods, and interpreting the results."   EPA

"Experience in interpretation of results is essential.”   EPA

Food and Water and mold can grow.
Many building materials (such as wood, sheetrock, etc.) provide food that can support mold growth. Even dust that has settled on these materials or furniture can be a food source for molds in your home. Molds can grow almost anywhere there is enough moisture or high humidity.
Controlling moisture is the key to stopping indoor mold growth in your Ft Myers home or business, because all molds require water (moisture) to grow.
